Trello MCP

Read and update Trello boards, lists, cards and checklists, plus your Inbox and Planner.

Officialby Trello (Atlassian)Hosted, nothing to installChecked October 18, 2026

Trello's official hosted server lets Claude view and organize your boards, lists, cards and checklists, plus your Trello Inbox and Planner, for the workspaces you approve at sign-in. It works on every Trello plan and never deletes anything permanently, since cards and lists can only be archived.

Who it is for

  • Small teams that run projects on Trello boards
  • Freelancers and creators planning content
  • Anyone who captures to-dos in Trello Inbox

Prompts to try

Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.

Prompt 1
Show me every card in the Doing list on my Launch board and who is assigned to each.
Prompt 2
Create cards on the Content board for these five video ideas, each with a short checklist.
Prompt 3
Archive the cards in the Done list and give me a summary of what was finished this week.

How to connect it

In Claude Code

  1. claude mcp add --transport http trello https://mcp.trello.com/v1

In the Claude desktop app

Customize > Connectors > Discover: search Trello, then select Connect to Claude

Hosted address: https://mcp.trello.com/v1

Good to know

Run /mcp in Claude Code to sign in and pick workspaces. Creating focus time in Planner needs Trello Premium or Enterprise.

How we checked it

Checked Trello's support article, the atlassian/trello-mcp-server repo (last commit 2026-09-28) and the Claude directory listing; the endpoint returns an OAuth challenge backed by Atlassian sign-in.
