Doist, the company behind Todoist, hosts this server and publishes its source code, so Claude can add, find, update and complete your tasks and manage projects, labels and reminders. Its tools are built around whole workflows, such as a daily overview or a project health check, rather than single API calls.

Good to know
Run /mcp in Claude Code and pick todoist to sign in. The local package (npx @doist/todoist-mcp) needs Node.js 24+ and a TODOIST_API_KEY.

Checked the Doist/todoist-mcp repo (MIT, release v13.6.0 on 2026-10-16), the npm package, the registry entry net.todoist/mcp and the Claude directory listing; the hosted endpoint returns an OAuth challenge.
