monday.com MCP

Manage monday.com boards, items, docs, forms and dashboards in plain language.

Officialby monday.comHosted or on your computerChecked October 18, 2026

monday.com's hosted MCP server lets Claude read and update boards, items, docs, forms and dashboards with the same access your monday.com account has. It is included on every monday.com plan, and an open-source local version that uses an API token is available for developers who want to customize it.

Who it is for

  • Teams that run projects or a CRM on monday.com
  • Operations managers who build weekly reports
  • Agencies tracking client work on boards

Prompts to try

Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.

Prompt 1
What is overdue across all of our launch boards, and who owns each item?
Prompt 2
Turn this call transcript into items on the Client Onboarding board with owners and due dates.
Prompt 3
Build a dashboard that shows status and workload for the Marketing board.

How to connect it

In Claude Code

  1. claude mcp add --transport http monday https://mcp.monday.com/mcp

In the Claude desktop app

How we checked it

Checked the mondaycom/mcp repo (MIT, last commit 2026-10-15), the npm package, monday's help center articles on MCP and Claude (updated 2026-10) and the registry entry com.monday/monday.com; the hosted endpoint returns an OAuth challenge.
