Microsoft 365 Connector for Claude

Search SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook and Teams from Claude with your work account.

Community, verifiedby AnthropicHosted, nothing to installChecked October 18, 2026

This connector, built and hosted by Anthropic, lets Claude search and read your organization's SharePoint and OneDrive files, Outlook mail and calendar, and Teams chats through Microsoft Graph with your own permissions. It is read-only by default, and admins can turn on write tools for sending mail, managing events, editing files and posting Teams messages.

Who it is for

  • Companies that run on Microsoft 365
  • Managers who work in Outlook and Teams all day
  • IT admins rolling out Claude to staff

Prompts to try

Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.

Prompt 1
Find the latest version of the vendor contract in SharePoint and list the renewal terms.
Prompt 2
Summarize this week's email threads about the product launch and flag anything waiting on me.
Prompt 3
What did the marketing channel in Teams decide about the campaign budget?

How to connect it

In Claude Code

  1. claude mcp add --transport http microsoft-365 https://microsoft365.mcp.claude.com/mcp

In the Claude desktop app

Customize > Connectors > Discover: search Microsoft 365, then select Connect to Claude

Hosted address: https://microsoft365.mcp.claude.com/mcp

Good to know

Anthropic's documented Claude Code route is to connect it in claude.ai first, after which it shows up under /mcp.

How we checked it

Checked Claude's Microsoft 365 connector docs, the help center setup article (updated October 2026) and the directory listing; the endpoint returns an OAuth challenge, and Anthropic, not Microsoft, builds and hosts it.
