Google Sheets MCP Server
Read, analyze and update Google Sheets, including values, formulas, rows and columns.
Officialby GoogleHosted, nothing to installChecked October 18, 2026
Google's hosted Sheets server lets Claude read any range in a spreadsheet you can access, inspect its tabs and structure, and write values or formulas back. It pairs well with the Drive server, which finds the file, while this one does the cell-level reading and editing.
Who it is for
- Marketers and analysts who report from spreadsheets
- Small business owners tracking sales or inventory in Sheets
- Operations teams cleaning up shared trackers
Prompts to try
Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.
Look at the Leads tab and tell me which sources brought in the most deals last month.Add a margin column to the Products sheet and fill in the formula for every row.Insert a row under the header with today's numbers from the report I pasted. How to connect it
