Atlassian Rovo MCP Server
Work with Jira issues, Confluence pages and other Atlassian Cloud apps from Claude.
Officialby AtlassianHosted, nothing to installChecked October 18, 2026
Atlassian's hosted server connects Claude to Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Bitbucket, Compass and Loom on your Atlassian Cloud site, acting only with the access your account already has. Version 2 is the recommended endpoint and adds discovery tools that reach more products, and you can sign in with OAuth or with an API token if your admin allows it.
Who it is for
- Software and product teams that plan work in Jira
- Teams that keep docs and runbooks in Confluence
- Project managers who write status reports
Prompts to try
Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.
List the open bugs assigned to me in the WEB project, sorted by priority.Turn these meeting notes into Jira tickets in the Marketing project with owners and due dates.Find our Confluence page about the release process and add the new QA step to its checklist. How to connect it
In Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http atlassian https://mcp.atlassian.com/v2/mcp
In the Claude desktop app
Customize > Connectors > Discover: search Atlassian, then select Connect to Claude
Hosted address: https://mcp.atlassian.com/v2/mcp
Good to know
Run /mcp in Claude Code to sign in. Usage draws on your organization's Rovo credits, and delete or admin tools stay off until an admin enables them.

How we checked it
Checked Atlassian's getting-started and supported-tools docs, the atlassian/atlassian-mcp-server repo (docs and plugins, last commit 2026-10-07) and the registry entry com.atlassian/atlassian-mcp-server; the v2 endpoint returns an OAuth challenge.
