Airtable MCP Server

Query, create and update Airtable records, tables, interfaces and automations.

Officialby AirtableHosted, nothing to installChecked October 18, 2026

Airtable's hosted server lets Claude search and edit records, build tables and fields, create interfaces and draft automations in the bases you choose to share during sign-in. It works on every Airtable plan, respects your role in each base, and also accepts a personal access token for scripts and command-line setups.

Who it is for

  • Operations teams that run processes on Airtable
  • Marketers managing content calendars and CRMs in bases
  • No-code builders prototyping internal tools

Prompts to try

Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.

Prompt 1
In our Sales base, which deals have had no activity for two weeks?
Prompt 2
Create a Content Calendar table with fields for title, channel, publish date and status.
Prompt 3
Add the ten leads from the list I pasted to the Leads table.

How to connect it

In Claude Code

  1. claude mcp add --transport http airtable https://mcp.airtable.com/mcp

In the Claude desktop app

Customize > Connectors > Discover: search Airtable, then select Connect to Claude

Hosted address: https://mcp.airtable.com/mcp

Good to know

Run /mcp in Claude Code to sign in. For scripts, add --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_AIRTABLE_PAT" to use a personal access token instead.

How we checked it

Checked Airtable's support article, developer docs and tools list, its Claude Code quickstart and the registry entry com.airtable/mcp; the hosted endpoint returns an OAuth challenge.
