Tableau MCP
Query Tableau data sources and pull views, workbooks and Pulse metrics into Claude.
Officialby Tableau (Salesforce)Hosted or on your computerChecked October 18, 2026
Tableau's official MCP server lets Claude search your Tableau content, query published data sources, read view data and images, and work with Pulse metrics. Tableau Cloud customers can use the hosted OAuth endpoint with their own permissions, while Tableau Server users run the open-source package locally with a personal access token.

How we checked it
Checked Tableau's MCP docs and Claude setup guide, the tableau/tableau-mcp repo (Apache-2.0, release v4.27.2 on 2026-10-16), the @tableau/mcp-server npm package and the Claude directory listing; the hosted endpoint answers with an OAuth 2.1 challenge.
