Amplitude MCP

Query Amplitude charts, dashboards, experiments and session replays in plain English.

Officialby AmplitudeHosted, nothing to installChecked October 18, 2026

Amplitude's hosted MCP server connects Claude to your Amplitude workspace so it can search and query charts, dashboards, notebooks, cohorts, experiments and session replays. It uses OAuth with your existing Amplitude permissions, and admins can allow or block MCP read and write access per project.

Who it is for

  • Product managers
  • Growth teams running experiments
  • UX researchers reviewing session replays

Prompts to try

Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.

Prompt 1
Which features had the biggest change in weekly active users over the past month?
Prompt 2
Summarize the results of our checkout redesign experiment and tell me if it reached significance.
Prompt 3
Find session replays of users who left the pricing page without signing up today.

How to connect it

In Claude Code

  1. claude mcp add -t http -s user Amplitude "https://mcp.amplitude.com/mcp"

In the Claude desktop app

Customize > Connectors > Discover: search Amplitude, then select Connect to Claude

Hosted address: https://mcp.amplitude.com/mcp

Good to know

EU data residency projects use https://mcp.eu.amplitude.com/mcp. Run /mcp in Claude Code to finish the OAuth sign-in.

How we checked it

Checked Amplitude's MCP docs (updated 2026-10-14) and Claude Code guide, its Claude directory listing and the registry entry (com.amplitude/mcp-server); the US and EU endpoints both answer with OAuth challenges.
