PostHog MCP
Query product analytics, manage feature flags and triage errors in PostHog.
Officialby PostHogHosted, nothing to installChecked October 18, 2026
PostHog's hosted MCP server gives Claude access to your PostHog project, from SQL and HogQL queries and insights to dashboards, feature flags, experiments and error tracking. One URL serves both US and EU accounts, and you can sign in with OAuth or use a personal API key made with the MCP Server preset.
Who it is for
- Product managers
- Startup founders tracking product usage
- Engineers who ship behind feature flags
Prompts to try
Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.

How we checked it
Checked PostHog's MCP docs and FAQ, its Claude directory listing (added February 2026), the registry entry (io.github.PostHog/mcp) and the server code in the PostHog monorepo (services/mcp, MIT, commit 2026-10; stars are for the whole monorepo); the endpoint answers with an OAuth challenge.
