Supabase MCP Server
Manage Supabase projects, run SQL, apply migrations and deploy Edge Functions.
Officialby SupabaseHosted, nothing to installChecked October 18, 2026
Supabase's hosted MCP server lets Claude work inside your Supabase projects: list tables, run SQL, apply migrations, read logs and advisor warnings, and manage Edge Functions and branches. You sign in with your Supabase account, and options in the URL can limit it to one project, to read-only queries or to selected tool groups.
Who it is for
- Developers building apps on Supabase
- Solo founders and vibe coders
- Teams debugging a Supabase backend
Prompts to try
Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.
List the tables in my project and point out any that have row level security turned off.Create a migration that adds a profiles table linked to auth users, then apply it.Check the advisors for security warnings and explain how to fix the top three. How to connect it
In Claude Code
claude mcp add --scope project --transport http supabase "https://mcp.supabase.com/mcp"
In the Claude desktop app
Customize > Connectors > Discover: search Supabase, then select Connect to Claude
Hosted address: https://mcp.supabase.com/mcp
Good to know
Run /mcp in Claude Code to sign in; add ?project_ref=YOUR_PROJECT_REF&read_only=true to the URL to keep it to one project in read-only mode.

How we checked it
Checked Supabase's MCP docs, the supabase/mcp GitHub repo (Apache-2.0, last commit 2026-10), its listing in Claude's connectors directory and the official registry entry (com.supabase/mcp); the hosted endpoint answers with an OAuth challenge.
