Resend MCP
Send transactional email and manage contacts, broadcasts and domains in Resend.
Officialby ResendHosted or on your computerChecked October 18, 2026
Resend's official MCP server lets Claude send, schedule and look up emails and work with almost every part of a Resend account, from contacts and broadcasts to domains and webhooks. You can use the hosted version with an OAuth login or an API key, or run the same code locally with npx.
Who it is for
- Developers adding email to their apps
- Founders sending product updates
- Marketers who run broadcasts on Resend
Prompts to try
Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.
Send a test email from hello@mydomain.com to me with the subject Launch check.Show me the emails that bounced in the last 24 hours.Draft a broadcast to the Beta Users segment announcing the new feature. How to connect it
In Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http resend https://mcp.resend.com/mcp
In the Claude desktop app
Customize > Connectors > Discover: search Resend, then select Connect to Claude
Hosted address: https://mcp.resend.com/mcp
Good to know
For headless setups, add --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_RESEND_API_KEY" instead of signing in with OAuth.
Unlock the setup steps
Free. Leave your email once to open the setup steps for all 150 servers, and get the best new connectors each month.
How we checked it
Checked Resend's MCP docs, the resend/resend-mcp repo (MIT, release v2.27.1 on 2026-10-16), the resend-mcp npm package and the Resend listing in Claude's connectors directory; the hosted endpoint answers with an OAuth challenge.
