Massive MCP Server

Stocks, options, forex and crypto market data from Massive, formerly Polygon.io.

Officialby Massive (formerly Polygon.io)Hosted or on your computerChecked October 18, 2026

Massive, the market data company formerly called Polygon.io, publishes an MCP server that can search and call its whole REST API for stock, options, forex, crypto and futures prices, trades, quotes, fundamentals, dividends and news. Results can be stored in a temporary SQL table and run through built-in functions for returns, Sharpe ratios, moving averages and option Greeks.

Who it is for

  • Active traders and investors
  • Quant and fintech developers
  • Analysts who need options or tick-level data

Prompts to try

Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.

Prompt 1
Show the 10 biggest stock gainers today and the news behind each move.
Prompt 2
Get the NVDA options chain expiring next Friday and calculate the delta for each strike.
Prompt 3
Compare the Sharpe ratios of SPY and QQQ over the past three years using daily closes.

How to connect it

In Claude Code

  1. claude mcp add --transport http massive https://mcp.massive.com/

In the Claude desktop app

Customize > Connectors > + Add > Add custom connector, URL: https://mcp.massive.com/

Hosted address: https://mcp.massive.com/

Good to know

Run /mcp and choose Authenticate to sign in. Data access follows your Massive plan, and a free Basic account is enough to start.

How we checked it

Checked the massive-com/mcp_massive repo (MIT, last commit 2026-10, release v0.10.0; the old polygon-io/mcp_polygon name redirects there) and Massive's AI tools docs, including its Claude Code and Claude Desktop guides; the hosted endpoint answers with an OAuth challenge.
