Webflow MCP Server

Build pages, manage CMS content and audit your Webflow sites from Claude.

Officialby WebflowHosted or on your computerChecked October 18, 2026

Webflow's MCP server lets Claude work inside your Webflow sites: it can edit elements and styles, manage components, update CMS collections and SEO metadata, and read analytics where your plan includes them. The hosted server signs in with OAuth and limits each authorization to one workspace, while the open-source local version runs with a Webflow API token.

Who it is for

  • Web designers and agencies
  • Marketing teams that run their site on Webflow
  • Content editors managing a CMS

Prompts to try

Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.

Prompt 1
Show me every CMS collection on my Webflow site and the fields each one has.
Prompt 2
Check my site for broken links, images without alt text and pages missing meta descriptions.
Prompt 3
Add a responsive hero section to the home page with a headline, a short intro and a sign-up button.

How to connect it

In Claude Code

  1. claude mcp add --transport http webflow https://mcp.webflow.com/mcp

In the Claude desktop app

Customize > Connectors > Discover: search Webflow, then select Connect to Claude

Hosted address: https://mcp.webflow.com/mcp

Good to know

Run /mcp to sign in and pick sites. Design tools need the Webflow Designer open with the MCP Bridge App, and MCP cannot create new site projects.

How we checked it

Checked Webflow's MCP docs (overview, Claude Code and Claude Desktop guides), the webflow/mcp-server repo (MIT, last commit 2026-04), the registry entry (com.webflow/mcp) and the Claude directory listing; the hosted endpoint answers with an OAuth challenge.
