Salesforce Hosted MCP Servers
Query, create and update Salesforce records with your own org permissions.
Officialby SalesforceHosted, nothing to installChecked October 18, 2026
Salesforce runs a set of hosted MCP servers that let Claude work with the records in your org, from SOQL queries and cross-object search to creating, updating and deleting records. An admin turns each server on in Setup and registers an External Client App, and every call respects the user's field-level security, object permissions and sharing rules.
Who it is for
- Sales and service teams on Salesforce
- Salesforce admins setting up AI access for their org
- Revenue operations analysts
Prompts to try
Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.

In Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http --client-id YOUR_CONSUMER_KEY --callback-port 8080 salesforce https://api.salesforce.com/platform/mcp/v1/platform/sobject-all
In the Claude desktop app
Customize > Connectors > Discover: search Salesforce, then select Connect to Claude
Hosted address: https://api.salesforce.com/platform/mcp/v1/platform/sobject-all
Good to know
An admin must enable the server (Setup > API Catalog > MCP Servers) and create an External Client App with the mcp_api and refresh_token scopes, PKCE and the callback http://localhost:8080/callback. Sandbox orgs use /platform/mcp/v1/sandbox/ in the URL.
Unlock the setup steps
Free. Leave your email once to open the setup steps for all 150 servers, and get the best new connectors each month.
How we checked it
Checked Salesforce's Hosted MCP Servers developer guide (org setup, Claude configuration, beta to GA changes and the SObject All reference), Anthropic's Salesforce connector docs and the Claude connectors directory listing; the production endpoint answers with an OAuth challenge pointing to login.salesforce.com.
