With an n8n API key it can also create, update, test and fix workflows on your instance, and the author runs a hosted version with a free tier of 100 tool calls a day.

Good to know

Leave out N8N_API_URL and N8N_API_KEY for docs-only mode, and back up workflows before letting AI edit them.
