fal MCP

Find and run fal's image, video and audio generation models from Claude.

Officialby falHosted, nothing to installChecked October 18, 2026

fal's hosted MCP server lets Claude search fal's model gallery, check each model's inputs and price, upload files and run image, video and audio generations. The server itself is free and signs in through the browser, while each model run is charged to your fal account.

Who it is for

  • Creators comparing image and video models
  • Developers prototyping generative media features
  • Marketing teams producing visuals at volume

Prompts to try

Once it is connected, ask in plain words. Claude decides when to use the server and asks before it changes anything important.

Prompt 1
Find a fast text-to-image model on fal, tell me the price per image, then make a product shot of a ceramic mug on a wooden table.
Prompt 2
Animate this photo into a 5-second video with a slow camera push-in.
Prompt 3
Compare the cost of three video models for a 10-second 1080p clip before running anything.

How to connect it

In Claude Code

  1. claude mcp add --transport http --scope user fal https://mcp.fal.ai/mcp-relay

In the Claude desktop app

Customize > Connectors > + Add > Add custom connector, URL: https://mcp.fal.ai/mcp-relay

Hosted address: https://mcp.fal.ai/mcp-relay

Good to know

Run /mcp, pick fal and choose Authenticate. Runs are billed to the account set as the active MCP account in the fal dashboard.

How we checked it

Checked fal's MCP docs (overview, Claude Code and Claude guides) and its changelog (launch in March 2026, MCP update in August 2026); the hosted endpoint answers with an OAuth challenge.
