Higgsfield's hosted MCP server connects Claude and other AI agents to your Higgsfield account, so you can generate images, videos, characters and audio from a chat with more than 30 models and no API key. You sign in with your Higgsfield account, results land in your Higgsfield Assets, and every generation uses credits at standard rates, even on plans that include Unlimited models on the website.

Good to know
Name the connector Higgsfield and sign in to your Higgsfield account when the window opens. In ChatGPT, Higgsfield uses its official plugin from the Plugins Directory instead of a URL, and in Cursor you add it from Customize > Marketplace. For Claude Code, Higgsfield's own guide sets up its CLI and skills instead: npm i -g @higgsfield/cli, then higgsfield auth login, then npx skills add higgsfield-ai/skills.

How we checked it
Checked Higgsfield's MCP page, its two help center articles on connecting AI agents and on how MCP differs from the web (both dated August 2026) and its changelog (October 2026 entries); the hosted endpoint answers with an OAuth challenge. We have not run it ourselves, because it needs a signed-in, paid Higgsfield account.

Higgsfield MCP: common questions
Does Higgsfield MCP use my credits?
Yes. Every generation through MCP deducts credits at standard rates, whatever your plan. Unlimited model access and free generations apply only when you generate on higgsfield.ai itself, and Higgsfield's help center says an active paid subscription is required to connect.
Do I need a Higgsfield API key?
No. MCP connects to your existing Higgsfield account through a browser sign-in (OAuth) and uses the credits on your plan. API keys belong to the Higgsfield API, a separate developer product with per-request billing.
Which AI tools can use Higgsfield?
In Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app) you add a custom connector with the URL https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp. ChatGPT uses Higgsfield's official plugin from the Plugins Directory, without audio generation or the Website Building skill. In Cursor you add Higgsfield from Customize > Marketplace. Claude Code, OpenClaw and Hermes connect through the Higgsfield CLI and its companion skills, and any other MCP client can use the same URL.
Can I limit how many credits Claude spends?
Not with a built-in cap. Higgsfield suggests telling the agent at the start of a session to state the credit cost and wait for your approval before it generates, and you can ask for your Higgsfield credit balance at any time. Every result also lands in your Assets on higgsfield.ai, tagged with the MCP source.
